At BOND.AI we want to use our technology, specifically the Empathy Engine®, an artificial intelligence engine that uses financial, non-financial and intangible data to improve a consumer’s financial health, to give our partners an advantage in the fintech landscape. Why? This is because partnerships make our product better and, naturally, improve the experience for our clients, partners and their customers as well.
For our banking and credit union partners, we created Autopilot, which gives banks and credit unions a simple, easy-to-use tool that is powered by the Empathy Engine® to give them unprecedented ability to implement AI without investing the time, resources and money of research and development that would otherwise be necessary.
We created Autopilot because we understand that not all companies are ready for full AI integration, but we want to help usher our partners and clients into this new frontier. Also, we’ve been in a similar situation ourselves. We’ve been a startup and have had excellent mentors and guidance to show us where we should focus our efforts and helped us become a global leader in financial AI.
When we started BOND.AI, we participated in a fintech accelerator at the Venture Center in Little Rock. Through its entrepreneur mentors, we gained an advantage not only in access to knowledge and to meet peers in the industry, but also, we were able to demonstrate the power of the Empathy Engine® to established leaders in the industry. Since then, even though our organization and our partners’ organizations have changed, we've continued our relationships and have made the partnerships stronger.
While we are an AI-first company, there are some things that automation just can’t do, for example, maintaining the personal relationships necessary to build equitable partnerships. During my times at Nokia and Microsoft, I learned that automation could help with smaller, redundant tasks needed for a business relationship, but what really sets a valuable partnership apart is the ability to make the partnership experience more personalized for each person.
On the other hand, you must be ready to prioritize your partnerships at a moment’s notice. Not just because it’s your responsibility, but because it’s a privilege to work with such amazing companies.
With the advancement of AI, not every partner is going to be on the same level. Some might be just dipping their toes in while others might have gone into the deep end. You must be ready to work together on where to start but also willing to guide a partner further as their confidence and need grows.
We see it every day that a new partner is ready to start seeking the benefits of automation, but not sure where to start. It’s that type of mentorship we have received that we can reciprocate now. We want to be there every step of the way to build confidence not only in our technology, but to build a robust AI future for our partners and clients.
